I am so excited and proud of my Bullet Journal.  In this article I show case some of my Bullet Journal Layout Ideas. Up until a few weeks ago I didn’t even know that Bullet Journals existed.  I am sharing a set of of layouts and ideas today.  Enjoy them.  Maybe they will encourage you to start a bullet journal.

What Got Me Here…

One day while doing some keyword research, I noticed that a lot of people servicing the female entrepreneur space was marketing and promoting journals.  Angela Kim from Savor the Success has her own Life Planner that she sells for $40 and Carrie Green from the Female Entrepreneurs Association has her own journal called the Perfect Planner that she sells for $59.  And guess what happened next right?  Yup.  I began to think…should I create a planner?  I mean, I am the Founder of the Network for Women in Business.  Should I make the same kind of pivot?

Well my answer to that question came quickly and it was a resounding NO.  I actually love planners and journals.  I have a ton of them at my house.  And they’re all empty.  The day I knew that I realized my addiction to them was the day that I was cleaning my office and noticed that I had purchased the same exact journal twice, but in different colors.  Both of them were empty.  That’s when I knew I had a problem.

Journals and planners are great, but I just never found one that was truly catered to my needs. None of them were laid out the way my mind processes information.  And all of them ending up being used for taking notes.

Then was researching, I stumbled upon the concept of the Bullet Journal and it made my heart sing.  Finally, I could create a journal/planner the fit my personal needs.  A journal just for me with empty pages that I could design, color and create the perfect pages.  Perfect!

I immediately went to Amazon and purchased everything that I needed to create my Bullet Journal for less than $35.00.  The journal order placed on a Friday and arrived on Sunday, which made it easy to get to work fast.

My Bullet Journal Spread Ideas

When coming up with ideas the first thing I thought about was my life goals, bills, budget and business.  I decided to start with my goals.  My big goal for 2019 is to become fiscally responsible and to save more.  What that means to me is to pay all my bills each month on time. Sometimes I go to the pawn shop to trade in items for some extra cash to make ends meet.

So I designed some pages for that and this is what they looked like:

Then I thought about my businesses and my websites.  And my big goal for 2019 is to get my website traffic up for each of my websites to 25,000 pages views per day.  Therefore, I create tracking pages for that and those pages looked like this:

I wanted to track my revenue goals and I created a page that looked like this:

Then I thought about my life goal for 2019 which has been to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight.  (It’s only taken me 20 years to get within 25 lbs of my pre-pregnancy weight from my first daughter…it’s okay to laugh).  So I created some pages to help me stay on track with that and they came out like this (It’s a little messy, so excuse me for being transparent):

I will cross out the days that I exercise.

Bullet Journal Stencils

To make my pages pretty, I use bullet journal stencils and you can get a lot of these from Amazon.com as well.  You can get the journal pencils and stencils from there.  Here are the links:
