Abundance vs Scarcity mindset

An abundance mindset is an idea that there is enough wealth, resources, relationships, love, and success to go around for everyone. It is a highly positive and hopeful way of thinking. It has grown to be more than a simple idea, but also a way of life.

A scarcity mindset, on the other hand, is the polar opposite. It’s the belief that a successful and fruitful life depends on a finite amount of resources. It can get very negative for individuals who think this way because they’re always thinking about how there isn’t enough for everybody, that their opportunities and money will eventually run out.

Abundant Leaders think differently

People who believe in abundance knows that everything comes from God. They understand that He is their source and they put full faith and trust in Him.  These types of people don’t worry about a thing because they trust that God’s got their back.

Women in business who want success reject the scarcity mindset.

Entrepreneurs with scarcity mindsets view the world through a lens of lack. Their actions come from a context of fear. They are afraid that there won’t be enough opportunities and not enough business to go around. And often are reluctant to invest in things that can help their company grow and because deep down they feel that failure is inevitable. This is a horrible way to live life.

If you want to succeed in business you must develop an abundant mindset!

The great news is that you can train yourself to have one. Abundance and scarcity are not circumstances – or your representative of your current state of living or business. They are a way of viewing life’s opportunities.

If you want to develop move from a mindset of poverty to one of abundance, here are some things that you can do to help:

1. Trust God

Instead of acting like you have to do everything and running yourself in the ground. Trust God.  Trust that He will provide a way of a no way and that He will give you the strength that you need to survive and thrive.

2. Be Grateful

Instead of looking at what your business lacks or has yet to achieve, look at what you have accomplished. Thank yourself and your employees that you have made it this far, and have fun planning on what else you can do.

2. Surround yourself with abundant minded friends, employees and colleagues

Find people who always see the glass half-full vs half-empty and keep them! Thoughts and attitudes are contagious, and being with individuals who approach challenges with positivity will help with your business.

3. Discover the Power of Your Thoughts

Learn to recognize the power of your thoughts and how they can change your life for the better. If you think negatively, it will manifest in your life. So make sure you are thinking the right things.
